Robert Marshall, the Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center President said that officials will begin next week to deliberate which graduates will be suitable to run the new casino table games.
The graduates will undergo a process that will test them aside from their skills in handling cards. They will be scored on how accurately they will follow the procedures. Marshall said that about 100 graduates will try to get a casino dealer in job at Wheeling Island.
There were 320 applicants who initially signed up for the casino table games classes at WVNCC. While some drop out of the class, a lot of applicants completed the program and opted to receive additional instruction in roulette and blackjack.

The remaining time until their opening day could also allow the racing track to find additional applicants who also need to take the classes. Dealer training like in poker takes six weeks. The tuition fee costs $350 dollars.
The classes in craps and roulette takes up to 12 weeks. The tuition fee for the classes costs $600 dollars. The average salary for a dealer is $35,000 dollars, based on the tips that they will receive.
